This house once belonged to Patrick (Roe) Moran but when Daniel Conway from Crockmoran married his daughter Bridget, they eventually made this little house their home and reared their family there. They had two sons, Joe and Paddy and a daughter Minnie. Minnie married Johnnie Richardson and Joe married Mary McBride and moved to a house just down the road.
Paddy never married and ran the farm until he died. After Paddy died in the late 1940`s, newly weds John and Mary McKenna rented the house for a few years. They were the last people to live in the place.
