Hamish (Thomas) Bradley had a son John who is listed in 1856 as being owner of the family farm. When his sons, John and Patrick grew up he split his farm between them. These two men built two new houses, right beside each other, for their families.

Patrick and his wife Annie, lived in the house closest to the road along with their children, John, Mary, Pat, Joe, Michael, Vincent, Eilish (McCullagh) and Susan (McNally). The house has been renovated in recent years but still strongly resembles the original structure which had farm housing attached at a time. He was known as Pat John Hamish in order to distinguish him from all the other Bradleys in Moyard .
