At the top (CENTRE) of this field once stood the little cottage of Michil Neal McNamee.
Micheal Neal was a McNamee from Glengamna, (Curragh) who came into ownership of what was Manus Bradley`s farm. He would have been related to Roger Bradley`s wife Mary McNamee and this is likely to be why he got the place. He did not stay there and the place went to the Pat Paddy Bradleys. There are still little fruit bushes growing along the road where the house once stood. Micheal was also connected to the McNamees of the Hollow. It is likely that Michil `married into` this place because all this land was occupied initially and exclusively by Bradleys.
