Hugh Lawrie Bradley`s House (footprint)

Hugh (Lawrie) Bradley`s house stood where the lane enters the top field.

This family were of the Patrick Bradley family who were the sole owners of one farm which was later split up among sons. Lawrie would have been a son of Patrick and Hugh would have been his son. Lawrie`s wife was called Ann. In 1901 Hughie was 60 and Ann was 50 and they had a son Hugh and two daughters, Bridget and Agnes. Hugh inherited the farm and the two girls got married and moved away. The farm eventually passed to Michael Doyle.
