The house stood a few yards to the right of the present house
There is no trace of this house left. In the 1970`s there was nothing left but a clump of stones to mark this old homestead.
Mathew Cleary`s family was connected to the Clearys of Moyard and Cavanreagh. The last Cleary to live in this place was a Mary Cleary who was likely to have been Mathew`s wife. The family died out around the early 1890`s . The farm was then sold to Joseph Bradley from Moneyconey, who lived in New York.
