This is the ruins of Mary (Mhici) Campbell`s home.
Mary Campbell is listed in 1901, as being 60 years of age and a widow, with one daughter Rosie, aged 21. Her husband Peter was dead at that stage. In Irish, when you say `of Mici` it becomes Mhici, then pronounced Vicki, This suggests that Peter was son `of Michael` Campbell. It is also likely that Mary`s small farm was the half of the original farm, as a result of Mici dividing it between his two sons. This was very common throughout the Sixtowns as fathers strived to keep their sons from leaving the area.
