In 1856, the Griffith`s Valuation lists a Francis Kelly as occupying this house and his family line went on to live there until the early 1950`s when Johnny Kelly sold the farm to Patrick McNally and bought Loughlin`s farm at Cockhill, Cavanreagh. The original farm at Glenviggan had passed on to Francis`s son, John, who married Mary (Pat Roddy) Bradley from Moyard. They had three sons, Joe, Francis and Johnnie and two daughters, Ellen (Bradley) and Mary (McBride). Joe and Francis went to America and Johnny, the youngest son, took over the farm. Francis went to work in America in order to pay off a small farm which he had bought in Moneyconey. He arrived during the `hungry twenties` but ws lucky to get a job on a dairy farm in New Jersey. He was all set to come home when he had the price of his farm saved, when he took ill and died. Ellen Kelly married a Bradley from Lissan and spent most of her life in U.S.A. She and her husband had two sons, Gerard and Eugene and two daughters, Mary (Brooks) and Bridget (Vose) who both lived in England.

Johnny married Mamie Gillespie from Tullybrick and they had five sons, Francis, Thomas, Gene, Gerard and Sean. They had two daughters, Mary (McCloskey) and Ann (McDonald)
