One of these houses belonged to a Pat Keilt who then left it to his son Michael Kielt. In 1901, Michael Keilt 64 and his wife Ellen 54, are listed as the occupants of this house along with their children, Pat 25, Joe 16 and Susan 15. Also listed in the other house are sisters, Catherine and Mary. The last occupants one of these two buildings were Pat and Joe. The Keilt family, from Magherafelt, claim a connection to these Kielts in Glenviggan They were also related to the Kielts of upper Moyard.
The other house belonged to a Pat Connolly for a while, who then left it to Pat Keilt. The farm and two houses eventually were sold to Paddy (Billy) McKenna.
Joseph Kielt died on 29th of March 1955. Pat died on 10th May 1963.
