This is what remains of the home of Charles and Annie Campbell (Murphy) whose son, James, was once principal of St. Eoghan`s Primary School, Moneyneena. Another son became a priest. There were a number of Campbell families in the upper end of Sixtowns and they, like the Clerkins and Kielts originated from further down the parish in the early 1800`s. James built a new bungalow, close to the old house, for his parents. It is now the home of the Kelly family. It is most likely that this family was related to all the other Campbell families in this region.
